Hopefully someone out there can help.I bought a cassette adaptor to play my Archos jukebox in the car and the Sony head unit keeps spitting out hte tape after 20 seconds or so.Anybody any ideas??? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. I read something while trying to find an answer that said newer tape decks have sensors built in to detect bad or damaged tapes. Unfortunately, I haven't seen anything that tells exactly WHY the deck sees an adaptor as a bad tape (no actual tape in it?) or if there is any way to fool it. So frustrating cuz I just bought a used car, tape deck was replaced under warranty for being full of "eaten" tape, and NOW I find out about this sensor thingy. I could have just had them upgrade to the damn CD player (or combo stereo) while it was in the shop! UGH.
(BTW, car is an '01 Sonata, if that makes any difference--maybe to tell me if it's possible, and how, to connect CD player to factory radio?)
