Silver Member Username: DisturbedpriestPost Number: 178 Registered: Jun-04 | okay so is a 2.67 ohm load a 2 ohm load then? |
Silver Member Username: GeekbikePost Number: 379 Registered: Dec-04 | A 2.67 ohm load is a 2.67 ohm load. The power an amplifier will deliver is proportionate to the resistance in the circuit. For instance: 1250w at 2 ohms 936w at 2.67 ohms 625w at 4 ohms Amplifiers are just rated at those levels for ease of comparison (might be an ISO standard). |
