i have 2 12 inch pionieer 600 watt subs and a 1000 watt phoenix digital amp that is 1000 watts and i cant get them to hit hard the subs sound like they are laging or cuting out
thats your answer right there . Sealed with those subs hold back the true potential of what they can do - port it to specs & your eyes/mouth will open ...
they hit hard before but not as much since i rewired my deck from a direct power source to the normal one for the radio. they sound like there laging or sound like they cant handle the bass but i know they can
That is what happened right there matt! The amp remote wire lets the amplifier know when the HU is turned off so it can turn off. If you didn't have this, the thing would just keep running!
If your rem wire is connected to the + batt terminal then the amp does not turn off even if deck is turned off . The light on the amp will indicate that .
The rem wire is supposed to go on the deck's rem wire (usually its BLUE) so when the deck is switched off the amp automatically is shut off ...
Hope that was the problem & both of us was helpful .
i think u said the same thing before and everyone was like dont do that so i wont trust you but the bass boost is all the way up and they still lag
