I Have A Pre Amp That Has A Crossover From 20-250hz And I Dont Know What To Set It To Because Ive Heard That Playing Your Sub (In A Ported Box) Under Port Tuning Frequency Can Damage It Is This True?

Do you have a ported box? If so, set the high pass crossover to about 5 or so hz below your port tune. If you are using a sealed box set it at 20 hz.
If you have a lowpass filter as well, set it at about 80 hz for either box.
