Kappa perfect VQ vs. pioneer spl 3004

I'm trying to beat out two 12" R types, and I can get the VQs from a friend for $250 for 2 12's. I also can get the pioneer 3000 spl subs cheap. I'm looking for an sql system w/ 2 12's for under $250. Amps will be decided on when I decide on which subs
