I have an eclipse titanium 12. I sold it to my friend but then when he was putting it in a box he broke the power lead input which broke the tinsel or whatever it is called that goes straight to the voice coil. If you know how the sw9122 qca is built youd know that they could have built it better in that area. anyways i would have easily been able to fix it if the tinsel wasnt woven into the voice coil. The tinsel broke of cleanly right where it connects to the power wire inputs. Which also wouldnt be so hard except right behind the inputs is a big peice of surround. What are my options here. If i order the QCA top assembly it is almost 300 dollars. If i solder what should i use silver solder and how long would it last? What would be another option removing the power wire inputs and modifying them so that they are extended to the point that i can re feed the whole? any information would be greatly appreciated.
