Series SPL audio Unregistered guest | Ok, for all of you out there who think Audiobahn and Lanzar are the shiznay. I got a sub that will knock your socks off. I have 2 of these in my trunk and OMG. this is some serious bump in the trunk. I am powering it with a DieHARD 200w MAX amp and it freaking BUMPS. I'm talking like shake your head loud. Probably 160db, and that's just a low estimate. I just have to ask, how did you meter this, where was the mic sitting when you hit this 160+DB, how big of a box are they in, what are the ports in the box tuned to (assuming they where tested in a ported box), what kind of car was it in, and at what frequency did you hit the 160+Db? I'm just woundering how this is possible, unless you had the mic in the port, because if you say they are in the trunk of your car, reaching those numbers is impossible with those subs. |

Especially with 2 lower quality, lower performance subs in a sealed enclosure in your trunk. I may not have heard every sub i recommend, but i talk to ppl who have heard them....like Barbara Walters interviewing the President, so i know as much as i can about them. but their are a lot of subs i have heard. and i will say that i was overly unimpressed with the SQ or performance of the set of Pyramids i heard. so don't take it offensively when people question your statements. there are alot of people on here who have a lot of experience, and have been to many competitions, and have seen 160db setups, so when you say your 2 15's hit 160db in a sealed enclosure in your trunk....they tend to chuckle. |
