Gold Member Username: Basshead86Ocala, FL USA Post Number: 2458 Registered: Aug-05 | it depends on the power handling of the speakers you intend to use. you could get a 10" to handle 500wRMS, or an 18", or 2 sets of some 100wRMS components. i would use no smaller than 4ga. wiring. |

Bronze Member Username: BlakktalonPost Number: 22 Registered: Dec-04 | well since I dont know what kinda of amp, what your putting it in, what you plan on doing when you get it hooked up I really dont know, much except probably run a 4 or lower. Youll probably end up getting more amps, and bigger better speakers later on. I am running about 1200 watts rms on a 4 gauge setup of about 6 feet. I am pretty sure Im still ok. As far as the speakers are concerned.If you want sound quality I would recommend Infinitys. I have a pair of reference 5 1/4 components, in the doors, Two 2way 6/9s behind the seat, along with two kappa perfect 12.1's. |
