I have a 2 channel Boss amp which will allow me to attach a sub bridged as well as two normal rear speakers. The amp manual says that the sub should be 8 ohm and the 6x9s should be 4 ohm. My question is what can I do to push my sub from 4 ohm to 8 ohm or is this neccessary? Will it work without damaging any of the components if I run all speakers (sub + 6x9s) at 4 ohm?
Thanks for any help!! Moridin

the way that i would do it is get another 4ohm sub and wire the 2 in series then it would be 8 ohms together
note: boss amps work but not for long and have poor quality they are the same thing as legacy amps
