Any tips on seperating this wire?

I'm working with the Knu Konceptz 12 GA Karma Kable. This stuff is a real PITA! I'm using a razor blade, which I just inserted into my finger, and this is very tedious. How do you folks go about removing the outer shielding on these wires?

James G, try some tin-snips. :-) That's what I used and it worked very well. (with the exact same speaker wire).

And yeah...it's a pain in the butt alright.. :-) But it's neat lookin, heh hhe.

I used an Xact-O knife. Just set the blade so it barely protrudes, lay the cable on a flat hard surface and slowly slice down the middle.

Just bend, slice, turn, bend, slice, turn, until you make it all the way around.

i used my wire cutters, and my bare hands. an extreme pita indeed. not worth the inconvenience. i decided to just go with some nice 8awg and charge the loss on the twisted pair to the game.
