I am getting some HXS Advantgarde 636's

They arn'tt listed becuase the S5,S6,RS6, and RS6.5 are replacing them. but they are like the S 6 speakers. The 636's were the top speaker set Helix ran before the S and R line were brought out.
they will be bridged to the Dark blue 4 channel

Since the speakers are on clearance they are cheap, and since Im being sponsored even cheaper.

I would just like to get some opinions on this matter

(newer ones that replaced 636)

(HXS 636-clearance ones)

thanks alot!

one more thing, where is the BEST place to put your tweeters? just get in and move them around till you get the best sound? some people say to face them towards the windshiled, other say face them towards you.
whats the best?

thanks

nice speakers, especieally if you're getting them cheap :-)
for positioning, I'm a fan of kickpods, and keeping the tweeter as close to the midrange as possible.. even above it if you can.
good for point sourcing.

Yeah they are failry cheap!
Well my problem is I want to put them in the door panel...cant see the speaker model that way..and they are close to the floor facing across the car...(straight facing the passenger side door) so based on this where would be an optiaml place to mount the speakers?
thanks

you could see if you can angle them in the stock locations, or fiberglass them into a different location.
a lot of the positioning comes down to what you're willing to do with/in/to the car.

And what does overpowering speakers do? They need 70 watts RMS, and I was told by the distibutpr that they need more power to realyl get them singing, so I'll be briding a 4 channel and they will both be getting 200 rms is that ok? In his car he is giving his speakers about 600 rms and they are fine.....
