(Kicker doesnt specify if thats 600 continous or peak wattage. Or even better the Xtant A6001: Same scenario for the sub VC config. Silver Member Username: James_gTN Post Number: 320 Registered: Jul-05 | Save a little and get the Kicker amp. By the way, Kicker does specify that their amps are rated at RMS wattage. The manuals clearly state RMS ratings and there are no MAX ratings, period. The KX1200.1 is built to put out a minimum of 1200w RMS at 1 ohm. The supplied birth sheet will give you the exact RMS output, which they list as "MAX" on the sheet. |

Silver Member Username: James_gTN Post Number: 321 Registered: Jul-05 | You would use two DVC 4 ohm Type-Rs for a 1 ohm load. Wire all 4 VCs in parallel. You can use any number of subs you want on a mono amp as long as you don't drop below the stable impedance of the amp. You could run eight 12s (or more) if you wanted to. |
