man im getting crazy idea in my head.... i was going to do 3 12inch audioques but the impedence isnt right for my amp... i was thinking maybe 2 2515s (DD) but only if zacdavis can get me a deal on them. ive even thought of 4 15inch P2s!! im going crazy... basically im just messing around with something to get loud and experiment until the futre when i do my ultimate SQL system. the P2s actually look good for my application.. i can run 4 of them from my 1000/1 in a 8cuft box tune to 33hz. i;ll try to do as much port area as possible. for just 1000 watts that would be pretty damnn loud wouldnt it? allso im interested in hair tricks =) idk im going crazy some1 put some idea in my head.
Yeah... but if you're just going for an spl project... personally I'd go with the L7. In a huge ported inclosure, those things can get pretty loud. Hmmm, why not buy a cheap audiobahn, and see how good you can make it sound?:-)
Buy a sony Xplod at walmart, build the biggest box you can fit, connect the amp to it and see how fast you can burn it up Heh. Dunno if you wanna waste money for no reason, but sounds like it would be fun jsut to see how much you can push out of it
Doesn't really matter on the sub. Just get a setup that moves a lot of air. My hair puffs around just sitting in the seat, I don't even have to put the window down and dangle stuff in it, anybody can do that...
