Which amp? (sorry, not gettin any responses on the amp forum)

im currently purchasing two 12W7's and i was wondering what amp i should use to push them? any suggestions? your input is greatly appreciated and sorry for not using the right forum.

If no price range, 2 JL 1000/1's... but thats a lot of money.:-)

Yeah, if there is no price range I would also go with 2 JL 1000/1's

yeah that would be nice but im afriad my price range is about 800, is there any one amp that would get the job done?

Yes, for that amount, you can try Orion 2500D. MTX/RF/Kicker should have a model within your budget and power range. Notice I didn't include Hifonics in the list. Don't use their amps with W7 or any other high quality subs.
Zapco C2K 9.0x on the average sold for $900 US on eBay. So you're not that far off.

Phoenix Gold amps has that same good feature as JL amps with their 1-4ohms power @ any load .

They are about 60% cheaper too than JL amps ....

Yes, but unlike JL, PG is not made in US.
There's always a reason why it's cheaper.

but it look$ like he wanted a cheaper alternative . If it were me & could afford it i'd go Jl or Zapco amps , maybe he ought to go search ebay ... Upload

pair of RE 12.1s possibly? 2400 watts into 2 ohms. too bad nobody here has used one before.
