Tuesday, October 11, 2005 - 15:04 GMT i got two mrp-m350's powering two type r 12's, just wondering if it would make a huge difference to put two mrd-m605's on them. thanks.

Tuesday, October 11, 2005 - 15:19 GMT U did not list what ohms of subs u have - so i'm guessing its 4ohms dvc subs . A type R is rated @ 400wrms so 2 = 800wrms . so right now u are giving each 350 but that 605 will give each 600wrms - can be done but careful with your vol knob . Why not buy a MONO amp like a 1000wrms or even a 1200wrms like Crossfire, ED 9 , RE 1200 etc - should be cheaper than 2 separate amps ....

Wednesday, October 12, 2005 - 14:16 GMT sorry, they are dual 2ohm subs. so right now they are running at 4 ohm, they are only getting about 250rms. i kinda wanted to keep everything alpine for the most part.
