Look at the RMS aka continuous power handiling. You say that each sub in 250 watt RMS. So total RMS is 500 watts. Your ohm load is determined by the way you wire your subs so: (Wiring you subs at a lower/higher load does not effect output quality!) 2 x 4 ohms DVC = 1 ohms load or 4 ohms load. 2 x 4 ohms SVC = 2 ohm or 8 ohm load. You didn't say if your subs are DVC or SVC so i put down both options. So all and all I would say find a amp that does 500 watts RMS at a 1 ohm load. Spending a little more for a 600 watts amp might be a better idea tho, put less strain on your amp. p.s. Those retailers are extremely expensive. Look into some online retailers (www.woofersetc.com) or even ebay if you know what your doing. |

They are more efficient and are better suited for handling subs. If you want a 2 channel A/B class amp: 250 Watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohm. And we need a budget if you want us to 'find you an amp'. : ) |
