It puts out certain frequencies that match the different numbers on the phone. They were a big hit in the 80's early 90's to make free long distant calls from pay phones. Also, there was a button that would let you get your money back. However the phone companies caught on and they no longer work. As for working at a car wash, I highly doubt the same princibles would apply; therefore this technique would not work. |
