Saturday, October 08, 2005 - 21:57 GMT hey i just joined the board looks like a nice place to find information on this kinda stuff. Im looking into getting a good system for a small car (like a hatchback etc). Ive been told that one Kicker 15" L7 (1000watts rms) should be good enough for the low freq. I'm basically looking for the whole car to shake... Ive also been told that Eclipse subs (Ti) are very good. Whats a good (somewhat) affordable sub that should make a hatchback rattle lol ? (amp too if you know of any good ones). Thanks for your help - Eddy

Saturday, October 08, 2005 - 22:25 GMT Make a hatchback rattle? Hmm..That can be done with a single 8" sub if you know what you're doing. I'm assuming you're geared mroe twoards SPL than SQ? The Kicker L7 will get plenty loud for you, but run a search on them in this forum as their are probably a thousand threads that talk about the flaws in it's design.

Sunday, October 09, 2005 - 02:29 GMT well do you think putting in like 5-7 Infinity refrence 300watt RMS subs would be the same effect? My friend has 5 300watt RMS (12") subs in his ride and its decent but i want something more powerful. - eddy
