I just picked up a Alpine MRP-F240 Amp and a JL 8" sub for my car and I was told at the store that the amp could be used to power 2 speakers and then bridged to power the sub on the other two channels. In the instructions with the amp, there is no such wiring diagram, even though the box says it's a 4/3/2 channel amp.
Am I missing something here?
Also, if this works, would you reccomend I amplify my rear 6x9 80 watt rms speakers with the sub, or the front 5 inch door speakers which are only about 30 watts rms, 2 way?
