My friend was looking for subs in a pawn shop a few days ago and found a rockford fosgate Team RF 12" sub. Yesterday i went and looked at it and it looked huge. they want around 500 for it. i was just wondering if this is a good sub or not because ive never seen it until now.
yeah i picked it up and it was heavy as hell i dont know if its worth 500 used tho...? what do u think? its in pretty good condition as far as looks a few little scraches on the bottom from an install is all i can see.
WTF! A type X over the TRF2212? Are you out of you're mind? $500 is a good price, considering there like $12/1500 new. The TRF is strictly spl though... so if you want to blow you're doors off, buy it. P.s, you'll need a huge amp to push it... at least 2000 watts rms.
that's why i told him to keep his Type-X's. b/c he would be going from one end of the spectrum to the other, and would be very dissapointed with the SQ of that sub even though it will get very loud. once you get used to hearing crisp, clean bass....you never want to hear anything else. lol
Yeah, but that sub is an awsome spl woofer. I still like a nice kick in the chest though.:-) For $500... well I'll just say, too bad the shop isn't where I live, and too bad I don't have $500!:-) lol
