Anonymous | i have a 2000 watt rms amp and 2 15s running off the stock alt. and it wasn't much louder than the 900 watt max RF amp and 2 12's i had in the same car. I was just wondering if i would be better off just selling my new system and saving money on a ho alt. and hooking my old system back up. Now i know i definately need i ho alt. for my system but just dont know if its worth it. Any advice appreciated, thanks. |

Platinum Member Username: GlasswolfWisteria, Lane USA Post Number: 10598 Registered: Dec-03 | won't really make the system louder most times, unless you up the voltage at the regulator and have amps with unregulated power supplies. don't use max power ratings on amplifiers. stick to RMS. |
