I have all the wires labeled on the two harnesses but I am confused as to why there are two Pos, and two Neg wires. Do they both get connected to a pos and neg battery connection. I have also read that one negative must be connected to the head units negative wire. Which negative wire should I use, since there are two. This is a four channel amp, not the six. Model # 56007499 I think the jeep was 1996. |

Because from what I have read the amp won't turn on unless both the remote turn on wire and one of the grounds is connected to the amps ground. This could be wrong but there was a wire hooked up to the back of the factory deck that came from the amp. It wasn't a speaker wire, or remote turn on. |

Left body Harness Conector (14 Pin): From LEFT to RIGHT. TOP to BOTTOM #1 - Left Rear Speaker (+) #2 - Battery Feed #3 - Left Front Speaker (+) #4 - Not Used #5 - Left Rear From Radio (+) #6 - Left Front from radio (+) #7 - Left Rear Speaker (-) #8 - Battery Feed #9 - Left Front speaker (-) #10 - Ground #11 - Ground #12 - Not Used #13 - Left Rear from radio (-) #14 - Left Front from radio (-) Right Body Harness (10 Pin): From LEFT to RIGHT, TOP to BOTTOM. #1 - Right front speaker (+) #2 - Right front speaker (-) #3 - Right rear speaker (+) #4 - Right front from radio (+) #5 - Right rear from radio (-) #6 - Right rear from radio (+) #7 - Not Used #8 - Radio switched signal feed #9 - Right rear speaker (-) #10 - Right front from radio (-) and during a quick look over of the install instructions for GC's on www.installdr.com it says If your original radio had a plastic connector containing a single wire plugged into the rear of the radio. If your original radio or speaker grills were labeled or marked with 'INFINITY' Crimp a male tab spade to the new radios ground wire. Slide it into the female tab spade connector that had originally snapped into the rear of the factory radio. TIP: Crimp a male tab spade to the new radios ground wire. Slide it into the female tab spade connector that had originally snapped into the rear of the factory radio to activate the 'Infinity' sound system. |

I have tested and labeled all the wires going to the amp and there is an extra wire that was not in a harness, just plugged in to the back of the deck. I am positive it was not a speaker wire. |
