PaoGr Unregistered guest | I want to buy one 4-channel and one 2-channel amp. I'm between pioneer 6100F (4x60wrms), pioneer 5100 (2x125wrms or 1x380wrms)and ESX sx 460 (4x60wrms), ESX sx 2100 (2x100wrms or 1x320wrms). Which combination is better? (The pioneer are a little cheaper). I have four speakers 80wrms each one and a pioneer w306c (400wrms) sub. |

U don't have to u know - nothings wrong with choosing other brands .. I own 2 of your subs btw ,mine 4ohms DVC - whats your VC configuration ? ... |

PaoGr Unregistered guest | Mine is 4 ohm SVC. Iwant to buy both 4-channel for the speakers and the 2-channel amp for the sub, but i don't know if pioneer makes good amps. |

Post Number: 797 Registered: Jul-05 | Haven't heard anybody on this forum using Pioneer amps & i don't know if their new stuff is reliable (very,very older stuff was excellent) . I can understand if u do want to stay Pioneer faithful, however i'd buy their PREMIER stuff if i had to . Y a 2 channel amp for 1 sub ??? do u intend on getting another sub . Mono amps are more efficient . |

PaoGr Unregistered guest | What about ESX signum series amps? Are they good? I think they are better than pioneer. Mono amps are more efficient but are more expensive too. I would prefer buying pioneer 5100 (1x380wrms in bridging mode) cost around 200€ than buying for example pioneer 7100f (1x360wrms at 2ohms) which cost 280€.I think it doesn't worth paying 80€ extra... |
