Wednesday, September 21, 2005 - 05:13 GMT Type X RE SE RE XXX JL 12W7 JL 13W7 none of these are SPL subs imo, so count them out. now i am sure someone will disagree, but they simply are meant for better things.

Wednesday, September 21, 2005 - 11:51 GMT I do know, from experience, that the Power Acoustik will get pretty f,u,c,k,i,n,g loud. I know this sounds bad... but a sealed 10 has more SPL than a sealed IDMAX10 D2v.3 (that is - in MY car) HOWEVER!!! (Do not buy them unless your looking for a disposable car audio set up) ...hope this helps.

Wednesday, September 21, 2005 - 13:33 GMT "Muddy, just curious... You rate the 12W7 louder than the 13W7..?" no, i simply copied and pasted them off of his list, so they appear exactly like they would on his list. i wasn't rating them either, i was stating that they are not meant for SPL, but they could get loud, but not as loud as other subs.

Wednesday, September 21, 2005 - 14:43 GMT I've heard the mofo's, they do get pretty damn loud... but... I dont know..it sounded kinda brassy to me...maybe it was the amp running them, who knows? They sounded better than an L7, but not nearly as loud.
