right now i got a kicker L7 12 inch solo baric and i was thinking about getting another 1, and i was wondering if i put it in like a normal sized car would it be way to much with 2 of em? i got a friend who works with this stuff and he told me that it would like stop my heart. what kind of amp should i buy for 1 and for 2?

why not get 2, it would be fun. and you just need an amp with an RMS rating that matches the RMS rating of those subs

You should get the kicker 2500.1 and get two L7s. That would be way cool. Yeah!
Not neccessary, the kicker Kx1200.1 or SX1250.1 will do fine

Okay, well the recomended RMS is 750 w/ a 1500W max. The KX1200.1 at best puts out 1400W/2 = 700W (underpowered). The 2500.1 will still be well within the max on each sub. I'd rather have some headroom [500w ] and really make them beeches yell. I can just hear Bass 305 now. B-B-B-BANG!!! Yipity Yay!
