Gold Member Username: Basshead86Ocala, FL USA Post Number: 1273 Registered: Aug-05 | if you go by the general rule of thumb that for every 100watts your amp produces, it pulls 10 amps of current, you will need at least a 320 amp alt. again. this is generalized, class d amps use less current draw b/c they are more efficient at making power. |

If it's a TRUE 3200 watts, and you crank it often, go with 250+ amps. But like Muddy said, 320 amp would be best. Plus accessories. (3200/14.4=222.2~) |
