It comes to $2338.92 without shipping, she's got the money for it, her parents are loaded. All I can say is I hope woofersetc.com is having a 2 for 1 sale when she orders lmao, but is that a good system? She's only a sophomore in college too...

heh heh - u beat me to it .
I would say good too just double check the sub's volume requirements as i noticed the box volume is only 1 cu. ft & a 3/4" material thickness made box would have been better though .

also must add that i saw that same D61500.1 amp $581.99 on another online site = $495 brand new !

Forget that box from Crutchfield!

If you must order a box online, goto Klaus Audio. They will build your/her box to the specs you need using 3/4" MDF.

I've already been through this here with the DA D612D4 subs. For a sealed box you need 1.25 cubic ft. per sub. The manual with these subs shows a minimal 0.85 cubic ft. per sub for a sealed enclosure, but 1.25 is optimal with poly-fill added.

If you go ported, be aware that these subs have a Qts of 0.51. They also require a 30 Hz Subsonic Filter for most optimized ported enclosures.

Even though I don't have my new system installed yet, I like what you've picked. LOL. I have the D612D4 subs and the M651 components.

Also, if a warranty isn't definitely needed, you should be able to get those components cheaper. My M651s were $175.
