Sunday, September 18, 2005 - 00:55 GMT yeah. good stuff. very low and very smooth. the 15" are actually the only ones recommended for ported AND sealed enclosures. price wise, i think it would be a fair comp between the rl-p and the sx all the way around. havn't heard the sx though.

Monday, September 19, 2005 - 03:43 GMT How does it compare to an idmax in respect of sql? More spl less spl? more sq less sq?

Monday, September 19, 2005 - 06:04 GMT i believe the xmax between the 2 is very similar so about the same SPL...ID max has a little better sound quality...basically you get what you pay for in that instance.

Monday, September 19, 2005 - 06:08 GMT i don't think you can get a better sub for the dollar. the "in" re sx seems to be the closest runner (in front of or behind). havn't heard it though. but the rlp gets incredibly low and sounds real doing it. the rl-s is even more of an sq sub and takes more power.

Tuesday, September 20, 2005 - 03:27 GMT the rl-s is rated at 1000wRMS on the 12" and the 15", and they only come in SVC 4 ohm.

Tuesday, September 20, 2005 - 03:32 GMT I was talking about the Rl-p series. I think that the Rl-s would be to much for a s-10. I want to do 2 Rl-p's. The Rl-s would be cool though 2 in a ported box
