I need some 5.25" components. I blew my Pioneers my friend gave me, and I bought some Alpine SPR-134A and blew one of them (one crackles at normal volumes) and they don't warranty it (off of eBay). I need some strong components that I wont blow. I need them loud, because I got SW9122's at full throttle in ported boxes... Any suggestions? Thanks!
Currently none. I'll be putting in an Eclipse (approx 300 wrms). But I don't get why I've blown the Alpine's, I have an Alpine CDA-9833 with only 26wrms (I think) and the speakers are 35wrms. I didn't see an immediate need for an amp for the frontstage.
For the subs I'm running a DA7232, but will probably sell it and get something a wee bit smaller. My 160 amp alternator works a bit hard to keep up :P.
