Unregistered guest | Alrighty, well let me start off by saying I already have two MTX Thunder 4500 10" Subs (each 225 rms) and a MTX Thunder 421D Amp (420 rms). I am looking at adding two more MTX Thunder 4500 12" Subs and another MTX Thunder 421D Amp. I am also looking to install a 1-1.5 Farad Capacitor. So what I am looking for is how to set everything up. I am guessing I will need to run 4 gauge from the battery to the capacitor. And from that run 8 to each amp. And then some guage speaker wire from the amp to the subs. I am going to build my own custom box, since I am researching it all, you know the air space and stuff, so the subs don't get damaged. I am just wondering if I am guessing the right setup, or do the amps have to be directly connected? Let me know what you guys think. And thanks in advance. |
