Platinum Member Username: GlasswolfWisteria, Lane USA Post Number: 10007 Registered: Dec-03 | no sir. you have one pair of RCA outs and a four channel amp. you split the signal so the left channel goes to front and rear left, and the right channel goes to front and rear right on the amp. you're splitting to front/rear, not front/back. audio is 2 channel anyway, so you get the same sound from front and rear speakers. the only separation is left and right. |

Platinum Member Username: GlasswolfWisteria, Lane USA Post Number: 10056 Registered: Dec-03 | you got it that's why an electronic crossover would better suit you.. you can set front/rear balance at the EQ, then leave it there. with a splitter cable you have no control over attenuation. in my view though, rear speakers are really overrated, unless you want to drown out kids in the back seats though. front stage is far more vital. |
