Bronze Member Username: CharyDominicab Republic, Santo Domingo Post Number: 56 Registered: Sep-04 | I have 2 12i½ Pioneer TS-W306DVC of 400W RMS at 4Ohms. I want it to know what cheap amp, not an expensive one. What cheap amp would move those subs. Something like 200 dollars. And i have a pair of 6x9 pioneer of 80 Rms and a pair of 6.5 Pioneer of 50 RMS and a JVC Mp3 Cd Player. Iwant to know which amp i need to buy for the interior. Because i want an amp for subs and an amp for interior. But cheap amps please. |

Its rated @ 1200wrms @ 1ohm but since its overrated it will suit u just fine - cause your subs need 800wrms @ 1ohm BTW - i have the same exact subs as u & i'm gonna run em with MB Quart Reference RAA1000 from crutchfield.com $299 - best bang for the $ if u ask me ..... |
Silver Member Username: RovinTrinidad & T... Post Number: 348 Registered: Jul-05 | Oh u need a 4chan too - then tis as in cheap http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14797 |

These are some pretty generalized groupings and also very subjective. We've simply based our experiences with the products whether they are direct installs, personal property or extensive research. You should always physically listen to a product before purchase because you are the one who will determine whether or not an item "sounds good" or not. This topic, while being controversial, is simply a generalized guide meant for beginners in the hobby. Silver Member Username: RovinTrinidad & T... Post Number: 369 Registered: Jul-05 | Check out the spec sheet that came with it or visit Pioneer's website . Well i built mine & it took only 1/2 a day by myself to get it done (can give u specs i used) . I used 3/4 mdf but woulda use 1" if it was available @ the time . Build or get a box thats PORTED - i tried the sealed & it REALLY held the sound back . Pioneer recommends a 1.65 cubic ft for EACH sub & a circle port/pipe thats 3" wide x 6" long which roughly is = to a fequency of 37 HZ i think . U can buy a pre-fab if its too much trouble, make sure its made with 3/4 mdf ,look for the 1.65 volume & if the port is not long enough u can put in your own pvc pipe ... I also heard from ppl that they also used slot-type ported boxes for these subs too , that i might try too 1 day ...... |
