Anyone familiar wit JL and their warranty policy on INTERNET purchases ? Found a "dist" that tells me they dont warrany off INTERNET orders.
This "info" was given me by the place I'm looking for JL products. After (three) internet prices that revealed his prices were 250% jacked up, he all of a sudden can get me my JL AMP & JL Xr series 6.5 components for $240 less then my two sons were quoted two days ago.
Just goes to show you should always "follow" up on your efforts and with different people in the place.
If JL only warranties products from a retailer I will understand. Just trying to see why this guy now cares about my $500 so much when two days ago I couldnt get the components for that price .
Thanks Jonathan, I know they have had "serial number" issues mentioned. Just found it shady practice by the retailer to all of a sudden match the "internet" prices from a couple sites on this forum after I told him his "original" quotes were crazy and I'd take my chances with these two referred sites!!
Audio equipment is worse than car sales at times !! I'll have him order the products with a full warranty now.
