Amp for 2 L7

New member Username: Puck10Post Number: 1 Registered: Sep-05 | I need some suggestions on what amp to get. I have 2 L7 12in 2ohm subs. Should I get 2 amps? If so which ones. That seems the way to go do to the wiring options on them. But if there is 1 that would max them both out please let me know. The kicker site recomends the 04sx900.2 and the 04kx850.2 which I think will only max 1 sub out. I also got a JBL BP1200.1 how good will that push them wired at 2ohms? |

MMATS D2000.05 model is 1 amp that can power on a 1/2 ohm load @ 1500wrms which is exactly what power your subs need & i hear MMATS are underrated power too . Silver Member Username: SouthernrebelMonroe, Louisiana USA Post Number: 967 Registered: Mar-04 | that bp1200.1 is a perfect match for those 2 L7's. just wire it like the diagram above and that bp1200.1 will give ~600wrms to each sub. the bp1200.1 puts out 1200wrms+ at both 1 and 2ohm loads. |
