frozentoast Unregistered guest | ok i am going to be installing 3 jl 10w3v2s in my friends caddy with a directed 750d amp now the problem im having is wiring up the remote wire. can i just run a switched wire from the battery or will that be too much power? and yes he is keeping the stock headunit, but he doesnt want it on all the time. thanks! |

I would suggest finding a fuse in the fuse panel that doesn't output power when the car is off (a.k.a. does the same thing as the ignition wire). Just tap into the power from that. |
