I have 2 12" REF1240W subs and a REF611A 600 Watt amp. my problem is that with one sub going its louder that when both are going. A friends told me i need to get a Y wire and hook that in and it would give both enough power..is that what i need or is the amp?
i don't know how you have them hooked up, but... if you hook one sub into the pos and neg of the amp, and the other sub into the other two pos and neg terminals on the amp, you'll be getting the perfect amount of power you need.
