Ok, here's my set up...I have 4 Pioneer 6 1/2" speakers (TS-A164), I just got a new stereo and 2 channel Pioneer Amp (GM-X262) 200 W RMS Power
Output RMS Power at 2 Ohms 1 W x 50 RMS Power at 4 Ohms .01 W x 50
and 2 Blue thunder 10" Subs. (btw, I'm not really knowledgeable on the specs, so I'm giving what I think you need)
I've got most of it going, the speakers are working, but I need to get the Subs going. I want to do a Parallel hook-up, or at least maximize the bump as much as possible. But it doesn't seem to be working. I put the 2 positive wires from both subs on the positive on one channel and both negative wires on the positive on the other. Is this correct? Or will it blow the speakers/amp. I'm also using 8 gauge Monster cables for the Subs.
I'd appreciate any advise to get this system going, at it's maximum performance, of course with out it blowing out! Thanks! Let me know if you need more info and if what I want/have going is possible.
