How many amps on my alt?

Can somebody please help me. I have a Rockford fosgate bd1000 mono channel amp at 1000rms @ 1ohm. And i have 2 12" Premier subwoofers that handle 1000 rms. the question is how many amps do i need on my alternator in order to run my 91 buick century safely without blowin it out my alternator?

i think it would be safe to buy a HO high end alternator

I'm sorry if anybody misunderstood, I mean how much amperage do i need for my alternator for this system to run it safe?

doubt you need one for only 1000 watts. now, if you add an amp for your highs and mids you'll need one.

1000 wrms??? On a stock alt? No way! Your going to need to upgrade. Even if your alt was producing a constant 14v (which it won't) you would still need 71 amps to run that amp. The average stock alt is about 75A, and that is average, most are alot smaller than that. If your gonna be running that amp on your stock alt, your gonna have to keep the volume way down, which your not going to wan't to do.
