As you have guessed, my deck will occasionally just stop playing all audio, including radio, and just say CALL. But if i push slightly on the top right of the deck it stops... if i hit it top right, its good for a day or two :-) . But i just dont think it should be doing that... whats the deal?

CALL if I remember on a kenwood is displayed when the ATT wire has a trigger voltage.. its used to mute audio when there's a cell phone call detected.
basically the ATTenuate wire is grounding out or getting voltage (I forget which) behind the radio.
just pull out the radio, then tape up that wire.

Ughh, Sounds like you have more problems than we can help you with. Take it to Best Buy, maybe they will pry it out with a crowbar for you....

well i dont have any din tools, so i dont think it would just slide out would it? it doesnt seem to be cemented in there. it wiggles. I wont take it to BB here they are a bunch of retards. I will take it somewhere to get it done though. Back to the install place.

Normally it's the brown wire that touches the metal off the car.
When it's an old model from kenwood, there is also a modification for this...
