Gold Member Username: CarguyPost Number: 4139 Registered: Nov-04 | Don't get the nascar scanner. It's a waste of money. Get a proper, open scanner. It will receive everything in the air. You can't mix cb antenna with scanner. Different frequencies. The CB is AM, and it's between 26Mhz - 27Mhz. There's also SSB for long distance communication. Well it's longer than CB, which is limited to 5 miles. If you love travelling and talking, then get a unit that is AM/FM/CW/SSB. It'll give you lot of channels and choices. |
