New member Username: JmanoMississauga, ON CA Post Number: 3 Registered: Aug-05 | hey guys....im pretty new to the whole car audio thing but i wanted to practice with a crapy sytem I bought that $100 JVC KD-S5050 for my 94 chrysler intrepid and i had a koss sub with internal amp....I cant seem to install it properly...i dont know what the problem is and ive tried eveything...when i had it connected the sub satrted to make a loud rapid thumping sound when i turned the sub up....??? i have a feeling its the wiring....this shows the head unit wiring diagram http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/Manuals%5C257%5C257KDS5050.PD and this is the intrepid diagram http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:Uc-y6X6PI_sJ:www.installdr.com/Harnesses/DC P-Wiring.pdf+chrysler+radio+wiring+diagram&hl=en ...(the diagrams on the 10th last page)i dont have the diagram for the sub but i thinks its just the 2 rca cables..the red power (i think) and a blue one (i forget what that one is for) .....i know that this is a lot to ask but could someone show me the correct way to wire this..... im out of options....thanks a lot |
