I am thinking about getting two Rockford Fosgate 10" HX2 RFD2210 (Dual 4-Ohm voice coils, 150-500W RMS, 250W per coil, Peak Power of 1000W) for $220 to put in a custom enclosure under the back seat of my 96 GMC 1500. First of all, is this a good deal? Secondly, what amp should I get to power them, and how should I wire them to the amp?
Thanks in advance

There are also 2-Ohm dual voice coil subs for the same price...Any suggestions for which one I should buy, and what amp I should get?
get two of the 2+2 DVC models. that'll give you two 4 Ohm subs (coils in series) then you can use a Kicker KX600.1 with both subs wired in parallel for a 2 Ohm load on the amp, giving each sub 300wRMS.
