syntax Unregistered guest | ok ok ok, i know the basics, but what really started messing with me was how is ANY driver able to reproduce several different frequencies at the same time??? like how can a tweeter make a vocal cord while also reproducing the clash of the symbols? or like in the late nite tip song how can the sub reproduce those sudden higher bass lines while still maintaing that low one? it was just a question. |

If you are familliar with high school math or physics, you'll probably know something about adding waves (Physics) or functions (Math). Now this is two frequencies: ![]() The speaker will move like the graph, but the rate at which it is moving, you can't see it very well. Now here is 6 frequencies being played together: ![]() As the voltage changes within the coils the cone will quickly move in different directions reproducing a multitude of tones at once. Add more waves and a song is made. |
