Silver Member Username: Basshead86Ocala, FL USA Post Number: 653 Registered: Aug-05 | your amp will only put out 400 watts rms, so you will be underpowering each sub by 100 watts. i would try and find an amp that does 600 watts rms, so you don't have to worry about clipping the signal. if they are both single VC 2ohm subs, then they can only be wired at 1 ohm. you would have to get 2 single VC 4ohm subs to wire them at 2ohms on the amp, but then you will still be underpowering them with the kx400.1  |

Bronze Member Username: James_gTN Post Number: 86 Registered: Jul-05 | I can't get that link to work. I stand corrected. The 10s are 300w RMS. If you have DVC 2 ohm subs, you'll need a mono amp that puts out 600w RMS at 0.5 ohms or 600w RMS at 2 ohms. |
