Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - 02:37 GMT i was thinking about getting the hilfonics zx7500 for my 12inch t2 rockford fosgate and bridging it to mono for 1000rms power but 1 site says this amp max is 2000 and one says 1000 power and i need to kno cuz my sub max power is 2000and rms is 1000 plz reply?

Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - 02:48 GMT do not go by MAX watts, you should ALWAYS try and match the RMS watts on the amp to the RMS watts on the sub.

Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - 02:56 GMT That amp is "rated" at 500w X 2 RMS at 2 ohms. I couldn't find the bridged specs, but I would assume 1000w X 1 RMS at 4 ohms. I would suggest a Class D mono amp for your sub. That amp is an A/B amp.
