Anthony100000 Unregistered guest | I have a Aiwa headuit with 52 x 4 output and have a set of infinity 220 watt 6x9s powered off the head unit amp. Also i have a 1200 watt 12" Sony xplod sub powered my an 400 watt jbl amp which is off the sub output on my headunit. Im sure its all wired properly but the system keeps cutting out when i turn it up... it cant go very loud and its so annoying. PLEASE help me with any ideas why u think it might be cutting out? Thanks Anthony |

See if your headlights flicker when the amp is turned up. http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/reviews/20030729/current_affairs.html?page=2 2. The resistance of your amplifier and subwoofer aren't matched. You can't connect a 2ohm sub to a 4ohm amp unless the amp is stable at 2ohms. 3. The amp is just defective. |
