im looking to purchase some good subs and my eyes came upon soundstream (splx & T4 12)both of the subs look madd to the extreame and look like they can do the job but i havent herad anyone give any of them reviews or even tallk bout the subs for tht matter.so if anyone could help me out whether these subs are a good buy or not and im going to be running them with a RF1500BD
i have some vgw-12's. had good sq until i heard my brahmas. didn't hit hard enough though, and certainly couldn't take the 600 watts they are rated at. the t-4 is an spl sub. the only person i know running them put 1600 watts behind each and fried them within minutes. he switched to the alpine type x's and fed them 1800 watts w/no issues after 6 months. i would dare to wager that none of SS subs are what they used to be. havnt heard anything about the splx though.
