Thursday, August 11, 2005 - 22:21 GMT The dude at the install shop recommended that I get an amp with RMS in the top third of my amp RMS. Like a 500 rms sub getting 350-500 rms. I'm curious about your question too, the salesman was just recommending what was safe, I dont think a 1000 max sub would die from 650 watts.

Thursday, August 11, 2005 - 22:28 GMT as long as that power was clean and you didn't romp on that sub to hard and have it in an enclosure it wasn't designed for I think you'd be alright.

Thursday, August 11, 2005 - 23:09 GMT that sub will be fine with 650 rms.. if anything u will just have more headroom with ur amp.. turn the gains down a little bit if u dont want that much power going to it
