I am getting a Treo SSX 12" sub that handles 2,000 watts rms, and i am going to run a Treo 750.1 amp which will do 1,500 watts rms at one ohm(stable) in a large ported box. does anybody have any other suggestions?

Running 1 ohm makes the amp work too hard.
get a JBL BPX2200.1, 2400 watts @ 4ohms bridged.

i'm getting the amp at a little above dealer cost, and it was designed to run at 1 ohm incase you wanted to hook up an addtional amp to drive a common load to the sub, it also come with a three year dealer intalled warranty
