Bronze Member Username: Red_alert05Post Number: 22 Registered: Jul-05 | I have a 1.5 cap and I was wondering if it will work with my amp? 3000 watts max 500@4ohm 1000@2ohm 1500@1ohm I want to wire it at 1ohm. I have 2 MTX 12s 500rms watts a piece so they will split the 1500 watts. what I want to know is if this is ok |

If you think that the amp can actually push 1500 rms at 1 ohm, don't push it too hard because you'll be overpowering your subs. To wire it at 1 ohm, you'd need the subs to be 4 ohm DVC. I believe thats the only standard combination of 2 subs that can result in a 1 ohms load. |
